Three bills today passed through the third reading on the floor of the kwara state house of assembly.
The bills are kwara state compulsory, free universal basic education law Cap k12, the kwara state Teaching Service Commission Law Cap k15, and the bill for a law to amend local government cap L8 and connected matters.
The speaker Doctor Ali Ahmad directed the clerk of the house Alhaji Mohammed Katsina to read the bills for the third time and the final passage.
He also directed him to forward the bills to the executive governor of the state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed for final accent.
The bill for people with disabilities bill 2016, has also passed through the first reading today on the floor of the house.
The bill which was sponsored by Aishat Ibrahim of ilorin East said when the bill is passed into law it will provide protection against discrimination based on the disability to provide equal opportunity and access for people with disabilities.
The speaker Doctor Ali Ahmad also directed the the clerk Muhammed Katsina to read the bill for the first time.
