Kwara North finally unite to take their rightful position to occupy kwara state government house come 2019.
On Tuesday 27/02/2018,the attendance was very impressive as both serving Lg chairmen and LG party excos were in attendance,former assemblies, Head of service, perm secs,women leaders,fmr commissioners,ex-councillors,the 5 member each kwara north elders and youth committees,it was however noted that,several meetings and consultations have been going on across kwara north and beyond before now with critical stakeholders to see reasons to allow kwara north produce the next governor of kwara state in the interest of equity and justice taking into account since beginning of this republic kwara central had produced two governors and rule for 4+8(12yrs) while kwara south will soon complete its 8yrs mandate the question is when will kwara north be? if not now,all stakeholders pour in their minds and wondered why would central even conceive the idea of occupying government house knowing fully that north had consistently supported their aspirations in the past,the general believe is that central and south are owing north a debt which most be paid and respected in the interest of Fairness and justice,of Worthy to note is that kwara north elders were able to control their youths from engaging central zone on print,and Internet to drive home their legitimate right to have there own as the next governor of kwara as the issue may escalate and promise that it shall be address by the leader of kwara politics,who all see as somebody who stands for justice even when it had to cost him strain relationship with his sister and other family members during 2011 governorship election in the state.
The believe is that no matter what all respected elders and leaders from central will be willing and fully support kwara north not minding the blackmail votes by some APC members in some wards in central to trick our leader into nursing fair,that if an central candidate is not filled for next years election probably the zone will be taken over by the opposition, the answer is simple which is pure black mail,the general believe in the north is that no party will get 70%of central votes they are always divided, while you can effectively say with north candidate surely 95% is achievable and 75% south,and 40 to 55% central.
