Oba not threat to Kwara Liberation but his Supporters - Bar Sambo

PROFESSOR OBA IS NOT A THREAT TO KWARANS' LIBERATION: HIS SUPPORTERS OUGHT TO BE OBSERVED. By Bar Murtala Sambo

“In every task I embark on, I hope for the best but I prepare for the worse. Accepting Abdulraman Abdulrazaq or any other person as the choice to lead the movement in case I don't get it is the choice I have long prepared for. However, these choices are not exclusively mine as i am nothing without my supporters: these are unpaid but financial members of the group who have invested more to this movement”.

Professor Shuaib Oba Abdulrahim

While every other aspirants have surrendered themselves to the struggle without any reservation for the allegation of irregularities earlier expressed by some, it appears that Prof. Oba Abu still nurses grudges. This has degenerated into exchange of expensive abuse from supporters of the political gladiators. Words weighty enough to abort the peace and reconciliation mission trend on social media day and night and any stakeholder who believes in the liberation movement will never be at peace. On this note, Dr. Amuda Aluko (the Tafeedah of Ilorin) scheduled a meeting with prof. OBA and I feel honour to be in attendance.

Oba Abdulrahim as a father of this movement, clarified issues beyond reasonable doubt. The erudite professor said if Abdulraman is the choice of the party, there is no way he would not support the party and the candidate. The only clog in the wheel of  supportive tendency of professor to the liberation movement is his supporters. Some people wondered how supporters decide the way of their principal. Prof. Oba Abu gave a lengthy description of his followers. How they have struggled hard to support his movement and how hard it is to ask them to accept Abdulraman Abdulrazaq as the God ordained flag bearer of the party when Abdulraman’s supporters and other party members do not acknowledged them as an entity. If we must succeed in this struggle we must learn to tolerate our differences. Castigating prof. Oba’s fans as enemies of liberation can never help the struggle we all believe in. Abdulraman Abdulrazaq has not sent any of his supporters out to humiliate anyone.  If anybody is thinking of what the gubernatorial flagbearer will appreciate much more now,  It is advisable for such a person to facilitate how peace and unity will prevail in the liberation movement among the gladiators.

When we ended the peace talk with the Talba of Ilorin, I realized it is now the right time for whosoever that has tagged professor and his fans as the enemies of liberation to tender an unreserved apology. I tendered my own apology in the meeting and I believe it is in the interest of kwaranism for everyone to join me as it is the right thing to do. I will further use this mood of apology to apologize to whosoever my earlier write up titled: LIBERATION REGARDLESS” might have wronged. My intent was to strike balance and allow liberation movement to continue regardless.

The gubernatorial flagbearer holds that he will make sure the movement will be all encompasses, fans and supporters of prof., and other stakeholders will not be left out of the movement. I believe everybody will make themselves relevant and indispensable members of the movement.

I am using this medium to appeal to the entire supporters, fans and loyalists of Professor Oba Abdulrahim to accept Abdulraman Abdulrazaq as the leader of the liberation movement. Professor hold you all in high esteem and he is reluctant to come to term with this oblivious as he believes the utmost decision lies in you. Thus, i call on the followers of high quality to help this struggle by accepting the directive of professor  and allow the movement to continue regardless. Dr. Baki, Captain Alao, and others should please convince their people and make them see reason why they have to accept the leadership of Abdulraman Abdulrazaq regardless of whatsoever grievances they have. God knows whatsoever role you play in this movement.
