NAKSS President allegedly conspires with Senate President to divert N2 million

The NAKSS national President Musa Mohammad Mancha was reported to have allegedly conspired with the senate president, Ahmad El-Imam who is also contesting for the president of the Association in the forthcoming election.

However, the president was arrested over alleged diversion of over two million naira from the association account.

The president is said to have conspired with the Senate President, Ahmad El-Imam and treasurer, Ibraheem Kazeem to withdraw the money which he claimed to have deposited into his uncle’s account.

According to a top source within the association who craved anonimity, he said the police have arrested him today and he was at the police custody since morning after which he was ordered to return the N2 Million naira back to the association account before Tuesday.

“He is given the grace of Tuesday to return the money back to the association account or face criminal case”, the source said.

However, he was said to have been asked to provide a civil servant as surety before he is released today as he is no more a student of University of Ilorin and his home address is not known to anyone.

“Since he might abscorn before Tuesday, the police has already asked him to provide a surety who is a civil servant.”

The Financial Secretary of the Association, Comr. Afeez Asileke, when contacted, confirmed that the president illegally withdrew a sum of two million naira from the association account but however said the police are on top of the issue.
