*Transition Committee: Governor-Elect Deserves Commendation, Supports*
"Concerning the brewing grievances, condemnations and rejections trailing the 80-Man Transition Committee recently constituted by Kwara state Governor-Elect *Alh. Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq* to liaise with the outgoing government, our movement, 02 Liberation Movement wishes to commend the committee's composition, praising its intellectual and cerebral make-up as more than capable of getting the job done."
"Even though criticism with objectivity forms part of progressive democracy, we believe that the Governor-Elect deserves commendations for his deep insights in coming up with such well-rounded and resource-laddened composition."
"The Transition Committee had been tasked with the duty of ensuring smooth transition between the incoming and outgoing government in order to ease the path of taking Kwara to the next level which entails knowing what has been done, what is being done and most especially what needs to be done."
"We therefore want to call on some aggrieved people of the state who thought they've been left out of the committee, overlooked or not ably represented enough to sheathe the swords of their grievances and allow peace to reign in order to prevent the losers' side capitalizing on patchable cracks in our wall for their benefit. We need to remember that they are looking for every opportunity to launch their onslaught and we must never give them the chance."
"It's sacrosanct to shed light on the fact that the transition committee isn't a form of political compensation and shouldn't be seen as such and that whosoever is of that perception should discard it as it is erroneous."
"We should also be abreast that members of this transition committee are not the actual incoming cabinets of the Governor-Elect but have just been saddled with the responsibility of ensuring easy transfer of government."
"We must also accept the obvious that it's not going to be easy to capture all the Wards in Kwara State by naming representative for each in the transition committee as this will makes it too populated and bulky to be effective. Too many cooks they say, spoil the broth."
"We therefore rally for the acceptance of the Transition Committee by the general public, in its bid to facilitate easy government transition, while also pleading with all and sundry to allow peace to reign in this early stage of a new dawn in Kwara state."
