More facts have emerged as to the rationale behind the low key inauguration of the 7th executive governor of Kwara State, yesterday.

It would be recalled the then Gov. elect Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman had released a 300 man list cutting across all interest in the party, thereby leaving no stone unturned towards ensuring the organisation of a befitting inauguration ceremony.

A week after the committee members had commenced rigorous work, brainstorming and harvesting ideas of how to put together a worthwhile idea, rumours started flying around on the social media about the disbandment of the inauguration committee.

Speaking on the behind the scene intrigues an highly placed party source who craved anonymity described the Sen. Makanjuola led inauguration committee as one filled with leadership incompetence.

He said "I can't imagine how Sen. Ajadi will insult and denigrate the office of the State Chairman of our party by making the Chairman, Hon Bashir Bolarinwa a former House of Reps member, an ordinary floor member in the Protocols committee.

"He did the same thing to several high ranking officials of the party and chieftains alike, it is the insult of the highest, it is no surprise that the committee failed woefully and had to be disbanded under the guise of low key celebration which was an after thought and a face saving measure" he bemoaned.

Another Chieftain of the party from Offa, Kazeem Oyeleke said "For some of us that have known Sen. Ajadi since his days as Commissioner, we knew the inauguration assignment will be bungled on personal animosity, favoritism and penchant for self aggrandizement.

"Ajadi whose attempt to fly the party's for the Kwara South Senatorial election, was unsuccessful mainly due to his antecedents, he saw the inauguration committee as an opportunity settle political scores.

"He was busy distorting the list, removing names of members and replacing them with his cronies, the most affected are the 7 local governments of Kwara South, no good leader reduces such important assignment to mundane street fights arena and expect to succeed.

"The deafening complaints on social media with no fewer than 30 write-ups flying around, while AA and all party leaders were bombarded with complaints of Sen. Ajadi's highhandedness.

"When the complaints were unceasing and causing the party and governor embarrassment s, a face saving decision had to be made to announce a low key celebration so as to stylishly relieve Ajadi of his assignment" he alleged.
