*Today, RT Hon. Ali Ahmad at the inauguration of the Kwara State House of Assembly Service Commission charged members to be fair and live up to expectation in the discharge of their statutory functions.*
Hon Mahmud Hassan Babako as one of the members of the Commission in a statement made available to the newsmen described the inauguration as an emancipation of total independence of the legislative arm of Government in line with the principle of separation of power.
Babako while commending the outgoing House under the Leadership of RT Hon. Ali Ahmad for their commitment in achieving autonomy for the state legislature.
He has also assured of consolidating on the legacies of the outgoing 8th Assembly to build a robust relationship with the incoming Assembly for a functional and effective legislative arm of Government.
