KWASU Unrest Championed By Prominent Gov. Ahmed-oba Aluko
It is rather unfortunate seeing our prestigious and referred institution facing a crisis caused by our illegality.
I wish to State that I stand out to challenge the allegations against my person and personality as far as the crisis leading to the closure of KWASU is concerned.
Being a governing Council member, it is not my duty to engage in any Financial transactions with the Vice Chancellor or any Officer of the institution and if anyone has evidence should come out publicly or challenge me through the appropriate legal means.
I categorically re-affirm my initial positions that the process and procedure stated by the KWASU Gazette were not followed in the action directing the VC, Prof Na'alla to proceed on Terminal Leave and appointment of Acting VC. It is the duty of the Governing Council to sit on the matter and make appropriate recommendations to His Excellency who is the Visitor to the institution ( Please make reference to page A173, Charpter 6,7,8 and 9 of KWASU Gazette 2009 as Amended).
Abdulkadir Olanrewaju Oba-Aluko,
Member, Governing Board
