When I look at this injurious and mischievous scene displaying the current state of a bridge that thousands of Kwarans plight from Ita-Mon to Oke-Fomon every blessed day, I began to wonder why, why have my people made to live in this death-connected road, the fear of falling or tumbling gripped many road users. What has been our sins to be subjected to this?
May I tell you what my mind revealed on a critical look at the pictures displaying Keke Napep and the missed bridge, it's indeed another ghetto in the confluence City and path to crossing another country, but do you know that most people living at the cross of the bridge up are Civil servants, market women and many other people that have certain functions to discharge everyday just on the depart of the bridge.
If had not known and visited this scene before I would have loved to say, it doesn't exist in Kwara and might be another world unknown to me.
Maybe it might be late, but never too late to change the narratives of the victims of eroded bridge, I want to strongly loose hope that the outgoing administration cannot do anything to reverse the good state of the bridge, but the Ó tó gé proponent should deeply look into it as it share the same Local Government with the Governor-elect. Before it becomes unbearable!!!
Need also to commend the bridge users for their patience, perseverance and long time understanding of the sunk political hegemony.
Kwara shall be for all, not for the few...
