Head Mistress slapped teacher at Idi Ape Primary School in Ilorin

The head mistress of Magaji Aare, LGEA primary school at Idi-ape area in ilorin, the Kwara State Capital, Alhaja Ibrahim Titilayo Olomu, publicly assaulted  a teacher of the school on Tuesday, 25th June, 2019 at exactly 10:50am.

The head mistress, who is notorious for her degrading treatment to  teachers and her usual violation of human dignity publicly slapped a level 8 teacher, Mrs Ahmed Rukayat, who teaches primary two in the school. 

Trouble started, when the victim told the headmistress that a mother of some students in the school sent her with some money to the headmistress, as a levy for the children sent home from school earlier in the day.

However, Instead of collecting the money from the teacher, the headmistress charged at her in loud voice, verbally assaulting the teacher for collecting levy from the students mother in her absence.

As the teacher attempted to explain what led to the collection in headmistress absence, Alhaja Olomu didn't allow her explain, instead she was landed a dirty slap to the amazement of all those present.

An eye witness, who pleaded not to be mentioned  told Kwara Must Change that,  the victim also attempted to retaliate, but was prevented by other teachers present.

The eye witness further explained that, Alhaja Olomu is used to assaulting teachers and unnecessarily threatening them on duty.

She wield tyrannical power as a result of her political connection within the former ruling government, aswell as the state universal basic education board (subeb) and ministry of education the source said. 

Several instances of her previous public assault on teachers were cited.
