Aviation Ilorin was on brink of collapsing before I brought it back to limelight - Engr Adeyileka

The International Aviation College Ilorin rector Engr Benedict Emmanuel Adeyileka, today in a Press Briefing with Just Event Online and other news men in his Office at the College Ilorin, To go by my biography I am aircraft Engineer by training, I worked in UK ,Singapore, China and Nigeria i can say I had Global Experiences
I Chooses to come to aviation College Ilorin upon my rich backgrounds in aviation industry because in the whole West Africa there are two aviation College and both of them are in Nigeria
One is owned by Federal Government while kwara State Government owned the second one
Before I became Rector of this College I had the Opportunity to regulate the College from NCAA and I knew this is the only way I could displayed my Skills because if you go and work in a place that is already set up you won't have any Challenges,
Funding was our biggest Problem, i looked for technicality with the minimum Funding to redeem the College back because of my Experience in Aviation Industry
The Management of the College Automatically Becomes Marketers ,we look for ways to Source for funds to run the College
I wasn't scared to take this job because in aviation industry we have Compliance and non Compliance ,when you about one non Compliance, there's solutions to it
The College Certificates was suspended by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) because of few non Compliance that they've not met the regulatory requirements , Without Certification the College can not function , Parent lost hope, Engrs, Captains were scared to come to work, Staffers were owed Backlogs,
I can Boldly say I met the College in very worst Condition which the College Registrar Alhaji Rasheed Aiyelabegan ,the Head of Training (HOT) Captain Joseph Garba and other Management staff can Testify to it
Immediately I resume Office ,my first mandate was to recover the Certification of the College from NCAA which was a very difficult task but with the help of almighty God I did it Successfully
Then I set up Committee that will work hard to bring back aviation to limelight, I broke the barrier of division of labor and my reputable management agreed to me and they Pledged to improve in all that will bring developments back to the college after series of meeting with them I meet most of our Customers and with my Integrity and Experience ,had to Convince them to Patronize us and with my unwavering faith the College was able to get Students even than before
I made our Environment to be serene , Electronic Classrooms, Modernize Simulators, Air Conditioning Classrooms and qualities training Equipments
I inherited many things, backlogs of Staffers, faulty equipment etc, I make sure all what I inherited was cleared off
Now People are withdrawing from Aviation College Zaria for our own Aviation College Ilorin
In my first year as Aviation College Ilorin rector I made more Positive impacts that earned me many award of Excellence
