Pharmacy induction: Unilorin ASUU wades in
Following the incidence that occurred on Friday 30/08/2019 resulting in non induction of some students of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, including one of the best graduating student, the Academic Staff Union of Universities has constituted an investigation committee.
According to the release by the Union’s President, Prof. M.S Ajao, “the terms of reference include to investigate the cause and other remote cause(s) of the incidence, to determine the culpability or otherwise of our members in the incidence, and to make recommendations as to prevent future occurrence of such incidence in the university.
“Prof I Ogunlade of the Department of Agricultural Rural Extension, Faculty of Agriculture will serve as Chairman, while members Prof I A Baba Department of Behavioural Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Prof Omolara OluwaniyiDepartment of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Dr O. O Adebisi of Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Life Sciences, Dr Oludolapo Ojediran Department of the Performing Arts, Faculty of Arts who will serve as the secretary to the committee.
“he Committee is to be inaugurated on Tuesday at the ASUU secretariat on Tuesday 03.09/2019 by 10am. They shall be expected to submit there report one week from the date of their inauguration” it reads.
