Following the mandate and vision of HE Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hajiya Aisha Ahman on wednesday lead the monarchs from Kwara state assembly to the palace of his eminence, the Emir of Ilorin, Maimartaba Sarkin Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR, the Chairman of the Kwara State traditional Council as is customary after budget presentation. In attendance, were the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi II and other Royal Fathers.
On her arrival, the Hon. commissioner was welcomed by some palace chiefs and ushered into the palace amidst funfair and melody as a mark of respect for the commissioner.
The emir of Ilorin while receiving the Commissioner appreciate the governor for the choice of Hajia Aisha Pategi and reiterated the traditional rulers support for this present administration.
According to the Emir, the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy affairs is a very powerful ministry that deal with traditional rulers, chieftaincy affairs and the grassroot development and all these are the background of all societies.
''The ministry encompasses the institutions of the masses which form the bases of all communities and the state at large.'' he said.
The Emir in a separate remark said ''Your late dad was a great man that worked for the development of Patigi community, Kwara north and Kwara state at large; having you here now is not a coincidence. You are my daughter and this appointment is a special one to me , very dearly to my heart because you are also a royal blood. I will give you all fatherly support to succeed in line with the mandate of governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
On her part , Hajia Aisha Pategi thanked the Emir for his fatherly blessings and others present and reiterated her support to deliver in line with the mission and vision of HE Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in pioneering
Innovation, technology and human development in a new Kwara state.
