Dear sir/ma,
Re- Call for Physical Screening.
Sequel to the messages sent on the 1st of January, 2020 by your ministry reportedly directed by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State. We hereby humbly tender our unreserved Displeasure over such order and thus demand an immediate Reversal of Such Order as
1... the whole process of the physical verification is a bizarre attempt to risk our lives, as some people didn't even come home for the festive season in the first place, as a result of serving in Far away Northern States. With proper reference to the bad road conditions.
Number of lives lost few months ago attest to this fact.
2. As Corpers, for some of us, Our CDS/ Biometrics falls on that day.
3. Some Students who would be writing the resit exams have exams on the 10th of This month, and the exam runs till 17th.
4.. Some of us are still searching for a place of Primary Assignment.
5. For those who already have PPAs and would be resuming on 6th of this month, it would appear irresponsible of them to resume on 6th and start requesting for an opportunity to travel down to Ilorin again, for the purpose of the physical verification, considering the fact that they just got back from the festive period breaks.
Lastly, some people are not based in Kwara, so it will be nothing rather huge stress and Risk of lives which millions of Naira could not purchase.
Consequently, we resolve and recommend as follows...
Recommendations.
1...That Physical Screening be cancelled with Immediate Effect. So as to safe the lives of many from long distances.
2...the Nigerian Law School list confirming Students of Kwara State should be used to verify the approved list submitted.
3... Any Non Kwaran found in the approved list should be prosecuted and accurately dealt with according to the law.
4.... That your eminence should graciously allow portal reopened for all valid Students who are of Kwara State indigene.
5... That your eminence makes order than Disbursement should be made immediately after the Verification and latest on Friday 3rd of January, 2020.
6.. That no student should be denied their right to the money mainly on personal selfish interest of any Stakeholder in the Ministry or mere Mistakes.
