Today 25th February 2020 Installation of solar street light was done at Oja Oba Ilorin to light up the area to forestall illegal dumping of refuse there
The installation was supervised by Kwara State Special Task Force on Environmental
While responding to questions from JustEventOnlineTV, Hon Razaq Jiddah Chaian of Task Force narrates how people come at night to dump their refuse at Oja Oba opposite Ilorin Jumaat Central Mosque because our people are always on ground during the day time but with this new development, we can be able to monitor the area properly,
We have taken drastic step in combating illegal dumping of refuse at some strategic places in Ilorin, Provision of Roro bins, Dustin bins and Street light etc
Anyone that go against environmental norms will now face the wrath of law
