Fix Sobi FM road - NUJ National President to Kwara Govt

The National President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Chris Izisugo, has called on the Kwara state government to fix the road leading to sobi fm for the benefit of the community and the state as a whole.
The NUJ president gave the call when he paid a visit to the Hill top studios of SOBI 101.9fm today as part of a two day working visit to Kwara state.
Isiguzo who said the facility is no longer the property of the owner but a development to the immediate community and the state as a whole needed the support of the government in the provision access road and other amenities, will attract other investors that will develop the state.
Isiguzo who commended the founder of sobi fm Alhaji Lukman Mustapha for its commitment to staff welfare which is a major challenge to the media profession in the country urged other media houses in the country to emulate the style of the station.
He however called on the management of the station ensure that the safety and welfare of staff is paramount for staff development and the growth of the station.
In his response the General Manager of the station Kayode Aremu represented by the head of Admin Yusuf Taoheed, said Sobi Fm is the first private radio station in the state that made staff welfare paramount in its operation and establishment.
He assured that station will not rest on its oars on giving qualitative broadcasting in its social reorientation crusade in Kwara state.
