Ilorin Emirate Youths Development Association, IEYDA's train yesterday stormed Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) National Secretariat, Ilorin.
As earlier promised by the progressive group, IEYDA led by their national president Alh Salaudeen Babatunde, visited the parent association of bonafide sons of Ilorin and the neighbouring towns that make up the Emirate, IEDPU to register their mission.
They made it known to their host that the upsurge in insecurity within the nation is alarming; hence the need to be steps ahead of the situation as prevention they say, is better than cure.
As response from the host, IEDPU ably led by Alhaji Uthman Oba Aliyu Otta as National President was happy to receive the group and promised on behalf of the rest executives to give IEYDA the maximum support to achieve success.
We Commend the Government for the security summit and We're ready to partner with Kwara State Government under the leadership of Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman on security and other developmental issues that will benefit our people of Ilorin Emirate,
He however disclosed that security issues aren't meant to be discussed in public rather behind the close door.
He therefore meet with IEYDA's committee behind the closed door for further deliberation on the pressing issue.
The outcomes of their close door meeting was not disclose to JustEventOnlineTV correspondent.
After the meeting IEYDA presented certificate of commendation to IEDPU for playing leading role in development of Ilorin Emirate
