Visits Balogun Gambari Youth Movement for partnership

Earlier today, our correspondent was on ground for live broadcast of Ilorin Emirate Youths Development Association (IEYDA) special visitation to Balogun Gambari Youth Movement (BGYM) at Karuma L.G.E.A. Primary School.
IEYDA as an association comprising of youths from all the city and towns across Kwara Central Senatorial district had charged itself with the responsibility of tackling likely challenges within the district, and ultimately promote peace and development of the district. Consequently, the association had however scheduled to meet with community associations of Kwara Central in order to spread their gospel and as well seek synergy to help achieve the association's main goal, which is to promote peace and development.
Top of the pressing issues discussed with Gambari Youth was the worsening security challenges facing the nation. The speaker from IEYDA did charge the hosting association to be responsive especially to security issues as that is having direct effect on everyone. The resultant effects that could either be on one's life or properties. He also emphasized on the need to report any security suspicions to the law enforcement agencies and/or police to prevent any unfortunate future incidences.
Moreover, other developmental issues were also dissected. Unity among community associations within the Emirate was highlighted as a key for development of the Emirate, as a divided house cannot stand. However, IEYDA assured to walk the talk and promote Unity and Love among constituting community associations.
The Emirate's culture was also referred to as their priceless inheritance which needs maximum protection.
While appreciating IEYDA for their unquantifiable efforts, the speaker from BGYM also pledged support on behalf of the BGYM to IEYDA and assured a hitch-free synergy between the two associations. He then remembered the audience that protection of their golden inheritance in their Culture should be seen as a collective responsibility.
IEYDA's train will move to a new community within the Emirate on a date that will be communicated soon.
