Bayern Munich and Arsenal are facing each other for the fourth time in the last five seasons.

Bayern Munich have so far progressed against Arsenal in each of their previous three knockout encounters (Last 16 in 2004/05, 2012/13, 2013/14).

Arsenal have won their Champions League group for the first time since 2011/12.

It's also the first time since 2005/06 (when they reached the final) that they have remained unbeaten in a CL group campaign.

Bayern Munich have won their last 15 home Champions League games (53 goals scored, 8 conceded), the longest winning run in the history of the competition.
