Is a crime against democracy if you don't vote - Sowore

Barely few months to the 2019 general elections, Nigerian youths have been charged to discharge their civic right and to ensure that their vote is count. 


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sahara reporters and presidential aspirant Mr Yele Sowore gave the charge at a town hall meeting held in ilorin the kwara state capital. 


The online reporter advised Nigerian youths to kick against insecurity, extortion mismanagement, injustice, embezzlement of the present government and urged them to fight for the rule of law, corruption free government, human and infrastructural development. 


Mr sowore who admonished Nigerian youths to troop out emass during the forthcoming general elections to cast their vote for the liberated youth candidates, described any youths who fail to discharge their franchise as an enemy of Nigeria. 


The Presidential aspirant emphasized that,  it's appropriate time for any matured and registered Nigerian youths to change the face of government through their vote, saying its crime against democratic system of government for an able adult of eighteen and above not to discharge their civic responsibility Said in Ilorin 

He also advised youths not to relent on their political struggle until their voice is heard, expressed optimistic that 2019 elections, youths will take over government at all levels and re-restructure the old system that's affecting economy growth. 


Sowore however advised them to desist from any act of violence that will tarnish the youths reputation and urged them to say not to political destruction, thuggery, ballot snatching, but stand firmly as a brave and committed youth who are yearning for real change to defend their vote.
