KWARA: LUKMAN MUSTAPHA'S SACRIFICES WORTHY OF EMULATION - TINUBU

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have commended the dedication and contribution of Mallam Lukman Olayiwola Mustapha towards the otoge triumph in Kwara State.

Tinubu who was full of praise for Lukman Mustapha who is popularly known as Rebirth Captain or Sai SOBI, described his spirit of sportsmanship as worthy of emulation adding that his move to put the gubernatorial primaries behind him after 24hours, opened the flood gate of acceptance of the outcome by other aspirants. 

Tinubu who met Lukman Mustapha recently in Abuja, however enjoined him to continue to support the infant government in the State towards ensuring the Alh. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led Kwara State government delivers on its mandate, stressing that the new governor needs the support of all relevant stakeholders to rebuild the State.


Responding, the Isale-Aluko born APC Chieftain promised to always stand by the people, adding to him, politics is about the people and the welfare of the people must always come first.


He said "I am in politics to help ameliorate the sufferings of my people, I would never go against the interest and wishes of the masses. I am happy our new governor is a tested and successful businessman, he saw first hand the level of poverty, infrastructural decay, long neglect Kwarans were subjected to for decades and I can assure you he's dedicated to changing the narratives" he enthused
