KWIRS DIRECTORS RESIGN
Three out of six Directors of Kwara State Internal Revenue Service tendered their resignation letters to the Executive Chairman of the Service, Prof Muritala Awodun at the early hours of today.
According to our source, the Directors resigned from the Service based on personal reasons.
Although the four years tenure of Awodun led top management of the service which started September 2015 will elapse by September 2019, meanwhile there had been speculations that the Executive governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazak will terminate their appointment in due course.
The Directors are: Director of special duties, Mr Segun Olaniyi, Director of Corporates, Alhaji Nuhu Olaide Muhammad and Director Other revenue, Alhaja Iyabo Abubarka.
As at the writing this report, the Service has not made an official statement about the latest development.
