By Isiaq kayode kayode Murtala (OMIK)
NIGERIA became a British protectorate in 1901 and the colonization lasted for complete (60) sixty years before the country gained her independent and became first REPUBLIC (3) three years after freedom from British colonists.
INDEPENDENCE DAY, is an official National Holiday in Nigeria and it always celebrate every 1st of October, 1960.
The 59 fifth-nine years old country is often referred to as the giant of Africa owing to its large population and economy with (186) one hundred and eighty-six inhabitants. Nigeria is the most populous in Africa and (70) seventy in the most populous country in the world.
With the above definition and description, its disheartening and shameful that an aged and abundant blessed country who suppose to be muscling with developed or developing country with her population capacity is still swimming on a deep ocean where abject poverty is iced
A nation where corruption and insurgency are raining like a lucrative venture and instead of government to look beyond the pole, they are concentrating blaming the game.
Without doubt, God had already engraved Nigeria with sufficient resources where coins should be exchange with valuable items legally but with the bundle of leaders who are yet to graduate from being an analog handlers, controlling a supposed digital country like Nigeria.
Today, our noble country is 59, without concrete and visible development, who's to be blame? AGED or YOUTH no one but a government who are running away for its legal responsibility. Everything are on a reverse track and if appropriate authorities are still continue folding their arms, the record might be bad than this.
Government at every quarters, corporate bodies and religious organizations should stand on their healthy feet and fuse out the insurgency, corruption, regional problems and religious crises so that, our economy will be mounts on a well position lather.
