Sack Kwara TV GM now - KWHA to Gov Abdulrazaq
By Baba RahmanThe Kwara State House of Assembly has called on the State Governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to relieve the General Manager, Kwara State Television Authority, Alhaji Abdulfatai Adewale Adebowale of his position and appoint new General Manager to reposition the station accordingly.
The House made the call today after considering the report of the House Committee on Youth, Sports Culture, Tourism and Information on a Petition by some staff of Kwara State Television Authority, against the General Manager, Alhaji Abdulfatai Adewale Adebowale.
Presenting the report on the committee of whole, the Committee Chairman, Olumide Awolola representing Isin Constituency explained that the Petitioners alleged the General Manager Kwara of running the the station without recourse to civil service rules, sexual arrassment, illegal sale ten plots of station land, selling of the station properties and indiscriminate staff redeployment among others.
Some of the members who contributed on the issue expressed deep worry over the weighty allegations leveled against Kwara State Television Authority General Manager.
After indept deliberations on the matter, the Speaker, Engineer Yukubu Danland_Salihu described the allegations against Alhaji Abdulfatai Adewale Adebowale as an abuse of office and maladministration.
