Yesterday was a like a festival for the people of Okekere Community when Environmental Task Force Committee Begins evacuation of refuse from the 70 years Dumpsite in their Community
Speaking with this medium the community leaders commend the efforts of Task Force Committee headed by Hon Razaq Jiddah for their doggedness in combating refuse in the state ,
Please we also need modern toilets ,because many of residents of this community are aged Hajia Habibat said .
Also the Committee packed the Dumpsite at Emir's Palace Ilorin to have healthy environment
Shortly after the exercise the Ad hoc committee paid courtesy visit to Honorable Commissioner of Environment to brief him their work so far , the commissioner shows pleasure with them and promised to use their blueprint as tool to curb waste menace in Kwara
