Olasupo Bags TEF Kwara Hub Appointment
Nigerian serial entrepreneur, Abideen Olasupo, has been appointed as the Kwara State coordinator of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
This appointment came as a result of his proven track record in entrepreneurship, having participated in the TEF funding scheme.
According to the organisation, he will be in charge of coordinating TEF alumni activities, disseminating information about the Foundation’s initiative, execute Hub meet-ups, events and other programmes, represent the Foundation at programmes, meetings and events, monitor and conduct spot checks on inactive entrepreneurs in their Region, create an official Regional TEF Whatsapp group chat which includes Entrepreneurs from the specified region, while making the Foundation’s Alumni Manager a Co-Admin.
While expressing his appreciation, Olasupo stated that, it is a rare opportunity to be the principal TEF Entrepreneur representative of the Kwara Hub. "I look forward to driving initiatives as the brand ambassador, sharing initiatives and opportunities with other fellow entrepreneurs, attending trainings and representing the Foundation at National and Regional events.
It is important to noted that, earlier this year Olasupo was a steering committee with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and has lead and participated in many international conferences.
