Birthday celebration: IEYDA organises Special prayer for Gov Abdulrasaq and Baraje.
A special prayer was today held in Ilorin, the kwara state capital in honour of the sons of Ilorin emirate, the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and Alh Kawu Baraje in commemoration of their birthday.
The prayer was organised by the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Assocation held at the IEYDA National Secretariat, Edun, Ilorin at the instance of members of the Assocation.
Leading the prayer, the National Missional of the Association, Alhaji Muritala Ottan prayed Allah to give both Alhaji Baraje and Governor Abdulrasak good health and long life to continue in the service of humanity.
Alhaji Ottan said the prayer was organised to sought Allah's guidance for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq to pilot the affairs of the state to the next level and to ask Allah's guidance and protection at all times for Alh Baraje to continue on his humanitarian services.
According to him, prayer is the weapon of all human being and became necessary to ask Allah to bring development, growth and peaceful co-existence in the state.
Speaking at the event, the National President of the Association and the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and Alhaji Muhammed Uthman Jagunma said the Association is committed to the development of the emirate and the state in general.
