Kwara Education Commissioner Launches Campaign Against Coronavirus

Today 04 March 2020 Kwara State Government Commenced Coronavirus outbreak sensitisation in the State, the Honourable Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Ahmed Fatimah Bisola has launched a #NoToCoronavirus campaign at some schools in Ilorin earlier today.

Speaking at the sensitisation campaign, Hajia Fatimah stated that there was an urgent need to educate the schools on the Coronavirus disease, which has been reportedly detected in Nigeria, in order to prevent it in Kwara State, especially amongst the students and pupils.

JustEventOnlineTV gathered that The campaign which took-off at Sheikh Abdulsalam Secondary School, Taiwo-Isale Ilorin was also taken to four other schools within the state capital.

The other four schools were: United Secondary School, Ilorin, Queen Elizabeth School, Ilorin, Glorious Vision College, Odota, Ilorin and Amina Memorial College, Irewolede, Ilorin.

The Commissioner stated that the State Government will provide more suitable sanitation materials to the schools in the State and urged the school management to monitor the pupils/students and ensure they keep their environment clean to control the outbreak of the virus.
